Labor Force and Employment

This section presents statistics relating to the civilian labor force of California, including employment, hours of work, earnings, apprenticeships, work injuries, and illnesses. The primary source of the data is the California Employment Development Department, Labor Market Information Division. Other sources include the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics and the California Department of Industrial Relations.
