Governor’s Budget Process Training
Budget Process Training
Two types of training are being offered: 1) standard training (considered a refresher course ), and 2) training for new analysts — designed for those with less than one year experience. All sessions include the following topics:
- Schedule 10s / Detail of Appropriations and Adjustments Process
- Schedule 10R / Fund Condition Statement Process
- Budget Spreadsheets
- Salaries & Wages (Schedule 7A) Spreadsheet Process
Who May Attend
Budget Process Training
State of California departmental staff involved in the budgeting process, including the preparation and/or submission of Budget documents to Finance. Training is limited to two people per department per level of experience. Each training session is limited to the first 40 enrollees.
Dates and Location
Sessions are available from early August through early September each year.
Classes will be held in the Redwood Room at the Department of Finance, 915 L Street, Sacramento, CA.
